Engineered Stone Benchtops

Engineered stone benchtops are made from a mixture of ground quartz aggregates, pigments and polymers. Brand names include Caesarstone^®, Essa Stone^®, Quantum Quartz^®, Silestone^®, Smart Stone^®, etc. Unlike natural stone, quartz surfaces are manufactured using a process that produces consistent, dense slabs. Highly non-porous with the ability to control shades and patterns, this provides a range of colours not available in natural stone, especially in the lighter tones.
