Sharman van Ruth and her 2 daughters Lauren (16) and Maggie (14) are universally liked and respected for their hard work and dedication. Tragically, Lauren was diagnosed in 2008 with bone cancer cutting short a promising dance career. Despite being voted the best clinical nurse at St George Hospital, Sharman had to reduce her work commitments to care for Lauren during her treatment. Although Lauren is now recovering and back at school, the family has done it tough.
Domestic Blitz decided to make life a bit easier for the family with a total kitchen makeover. A-Plan was happy to meet the challenge.
The entire kitchen was designed and built in record time – just 5 working days.

The new kitchen cabinetry was custom made and installed to the valued of $9,800.
It features Laminex “Ebony Bellezza” doors in matching horizontal grain (to increase the visual width of the room), Aluminium profile handles, 1200 mm wide internal drawer with moulded cutlery insert and Ezi shelves. The kitchen also features a Hanex “Casablanca” solid surface bench top.
